Eagles Wrestling Soars Past Wildcats On Senior Night

 

 

Sullivan’s boys wrestling team had their second home meet Tuesday, dominating Union 61-6.

After a successful night at the Friday Takedown just four days earlier, the Eagles reprised their success.

The night started with two junior varsity matches.

Bryce Goings was pinned by Gage Pritchett at 4:51 at 152.

Robert York pinned Kota Antemate at 1:19 in the 160 class.

Carter Blankenship won in the 106 class.

The 113 class was a double forfeit.

Curtis Rall, Eli Peregoy, and Dominic Ransom won at 120, 126, and 132.

Adam Peregoy won by major decision of 11-3 over Elia Neely at 138.

Ethan Hurt won by a major decision right after with a score of 12-3 over Hunter Garrett at 145.

Colton Brendel pinned Cade Knese at 1:04 at 152.

Ty Shetley won by a technical fall of 15-0 at four minutes over Michael Alvardo at 160.

Austin Brock was pinned by Bowen Ward at 1:20 at 170.

Bennett Sherrell won at 182.

The 195 class was a double forfeit.

Jordan Rice pinned Bradley Scott at 1:14 at 220.

Cayden Thacker finished the night with a victory at 285.
