A Potosi Correctional Center inmate has been charged after authorities say a prison-made weapon was found concealed in his clothing during a strip search last September.

Obituaries

Sondra Rae Stewart, 87, of Sullivan, MO, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Meramec Nursing Center.  Born on February 18, 1938, in Great Bend, Kansas, to Raymond and Louise (Collins)

Kyle Andrew Midyett, of Sullivan, Missouri passed away on May 31, 2025 at 34 years of age. Kyle graduated from Sullivan High School in Sullivan, Missouri.

Dean Charles Althage, 73, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, Kansas.
