Sullivan Man Arrested After Months Long Investigation

A months-long investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff's Department and Sullivan Police resulted in the arrest of a man selling drugs from a home on Elbert Street.

The subject, a 50-year-old, has yet to be charged.

Narcotics detectives and Sullivan officers were alerted in January to possible drug distribution from the home.

The subject has allegedly been selling drugs from other locations within Franklin County as well.

Franklin County SWAT, detectives and Sullivan officers executed a search warrant at the home March 1.

They seized crystal meth, drug paraphernalia and several guns.

The subject was arrested and taken to the Franklin County Adult Detention Center. Warrants are pending.

I wanted to thank the Sullivan Police Department, the detectives and officers involved," said Sheriff Pelton. "Chief Pat Johnson and I are dedicated to maintaining a strong partnership to ensure our communities are a safe place to live.”
